About Me
- Netagene
- I am a member of the church of Christ. I have been writing things since I was little. Some have been printed, some posted. I write to teach or encourage; to blow off steam; and for fun! I had my own motorcycle in my 40s; I was a bluegrass music DJ for about 13 years; I've performed some. I am a member of the NRA. In 2003 (age 59), I became high partial legally blind; in 2005, I had to get hearing aids! Franklin Field said: "Poor eyes limit your sight; poor vision limits your deeds". And no kidding, the picture was made April, 2012!

"Tuesdays with Morrie"
Have you ever read any books by Mitch Albom? A couple of years ago, I read "Five People You Meet in Heaven" (which I checked out from the library). I had heard about "Tuesdays with Morrie". I think maybe they both were made into TV movies. Albom also writes a syndicated column, and I've read some of his things in the Sunday "Parade" magazine. So I decided to look on line, and try to find those and any others by that same man. I learned that he also had written one called "For One More Day". Of the ones I'm mentioned, only "Tuesday with Morrie" is non-fiction. None of the ones I've read are long, not quite "short stories" so I guess they'd be called "novelettes". In reading "Tuesdays with Morrie", some thoughts came to me - another poem of course. Groan - whine. Why do these things pop into my mind??? Mitch and Morrie's story is a gem, and is well worth re-reading!
