JUST
a LITTLE
Just
a little donkey who refused to obey --
Then
that animal spoke. He saved his rider that same day.
Just
a little cord, hung down outside a wall --
Helped
spies to escape, before a city's great fall.
Just
a little stone in a shepherd boy's hand,
Flying
from a sling, killed a giant of a man.
Just
a little servant girl told her master's wife,
What
a man could do have a better life.
Just
a little maiden unknown on the earth --
God
had chosen her to bring a special birth.
Just
a little rooster crowed one early day --
Caused
a man to cry – bitterly he did pray.
Just
a little needle - things shown around a bed --
Clothes
sewn for others – someone raised from the dead.
Just
a little action, to wash away our sins,
Obeying
God's commandments
To
show our love.
Amen.

I wrote this September
24-25, 2015, but had forgotten about it. Mary Jo Coull, a new Facebook friend remembered seeing it, found it on July 20, 2017!
