If I am faithful when I go to work,
I'll be there on time, and my duties not shirk.
If I am loyal and true to my spouse,
I'll thank him and love him, and not roam from our house.
I faithfully go places - to a park, to the store.
There's stinks and there's cursing - worldliness galore.
But if I say I'm faithful and true to the Lord,
Yet often miss worship, or whine that I'm bored ...
Consider - my job with a paycheck sometimes may be bland,
And marriage sometimes seems I'm mired in the sand ...
While still I keep onward - stores, job, and with spouse.
It's more important. It's soul-saving that I worship at God's house.

To be insightful means to intuitively grasp things - an "aha!" moment!
About Me
- Netagene
- I am a member of the church of Christ. I have been writing things since I was little. Some have been printed, some posted. I write to teach or encourage; to blow off steam; and for fun! I had my own motorcycle in my 40s; I was a bluegrass music DJ for about 13 years; I've performed some. I am a member of the NRA. In 2003 (age 59), I became high partial legally blind; in 2005, I had to get hearing aids! Franklin Field said: "Poor eyes limit your sight; poor vision limits your deeds". And no kidding, the picture was made April, 2012!
