THROUGH
A DIM GLASS
The
older I get,
The
denser I see,
As
if through a scrim,
Opaquely.
Some
things that I know
Now
seem as a shade.
Thick,
grey-white fog ...
Synapses
delayed.
Faithful
through life,
But
sometimes I slide.
Repent
... I'm forgiven.
From
God, I can't hide.
Still
I have hope,
Though
curtain was hung.
Love
everlasting.
Heaven's
begun!
Through
a dim glass ...
Window
between ---
Faith,
hope, and love ---
My
life is now clean.
The
older I am,
The
closer I'll be
To
heavenly rest,
Eternally.

even though I already posted it on Facebook like this. Maybe it's
complete. ... I've read that forgetting and misplacing things and
sometimes being slow to find words is nothing to worry about, that
the problems (such as senility, Alzheimer's, whatever) arise when a
person forgets what something is for.
